TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Bendigo Pop Culture Expo here-in referred to as ‘BPCE’.
1. Purchase of tickets indicates acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of entry as advised below and on the Bendigo Pop Culture Expo website.
2. Tickets are sold on behalf of the promotor of the Bendigo Pop Culture Expo and is subject to the conditions of entry by the promotor and the venue.
3. BPCE reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any patron, If any person fails to comply with the terms and conditions of entry by the event organisers or event venue you may be refused entry or ejected with no refund of your ticket.
4. All entry tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except where required by law. Tickets will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets cannot be exchanged for alternate days. Any unauthorised resale of this ticket may deem the ticket void. BPCE is the only authorised seller of tickets for the BPCE. Change of personal circumstance does not qualify for a refund, transfer to another event, or any other change to purchased tickets.
5. BPCE reserves the right to vary, add, withdraw or cancel or substitute any advertised programs, promotion, vendor, entertainment guest or audience capacity, event venue or similar by any means without notice and without refund.
6. Any cancelled program, promotion, vendor, guest, entertainment event location or similar may not be replaced or substituted. Ticket purchaser or their guests agrees tickets will not be refunded if a specific vendor, guest, entertainment promotion event location or similar is cancelled or substituted without notice and without refund.
7. All tickets are general admission entry unless otherwise noted in ticket details, and does not include autographs from guests, photo opportunities from guests or any other promotion, entertainment, function or similar from any advertised guest attending the event and additional charges may apply.
8. Any seating in panels and/or any other presentation is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis unless otherwise noted or signed. Room or venue capacity limits will be enforced, and you may be refused entry to a space until such time as that capacity returns to safe levels..
9. Entry will be refused to patrons not wearing wristbands securely attached around their wrist. All wristbands are void if removed. The wristband must be worn for the duration of your attendance, weekend pass holders must wear the wristband for the duration of the BPCE event or admission on subsequent days will be refused. Lost or damaged wristbands will not be replaced. Please see ticketing staff if your wristband is damaged, needs to be removed, or assistance is needed. Receipts, scanned tickets and any other proof of purchase is void once processed and wristband/s are allocated.
10. Ticket holders enter the venue and BPCE event at their own risk. By entering BPCE you agree not to hold BPCE owners, partners, subsidiaries, parent companies, sponsors or venue liable for any loss, injury, damage, distress or death incurred at any BPCE event.
11. BPCE will not be responsible for any agreement, purchase or commission you may enter into with any vendor, exhibitor, guest or similar. It is solely the attendee’s responsibility to ensure any agreement, purchase or commission is fit for purpose including any warranties. Any omissions, negligence, or failures of product needs to be taken up with the vendor, exhibitor and or guest. BPCE will not get involved with any disputes between you and any vendor, exhibitor and or guest.
12. Cosplay is encouraged. No weapons are permitted into the venue or event. This includes but is not limited to knives, swords, blades, baseball bats, paintball guns, replica guns that fire projectiles, metal spikes, nun-chucks and anything else considered a weapon by the event promoter. The event organiser reserves the right to decide what is considered a weapon at its sole discretion. Cosplayers are required to undergo a costume check by event security prior to entry and any deemed 'weapon' will not be permitted entry. the promotor will not hold or store said weapon. Any items purchased from any vendor that constitutes a weapon must remain unopened and within its original packaging.
13. Management reserves the right to inspect all bags upon entering and exiting the venue.
14. UNDER 12 years old ticket holders must be accompanied by a paying ticket holder 18 years or older to gain entry. Any person holding a under 12 years old ticket who is not accompanied by a paying responsible ticket holder will be refused entry.
15. Persons under the age of fifteen (15) years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+). Some audio and visual content at BPCE along with some gaming is rated MA15+; access restrictions may apply in some areas to those under the age of fifteen (15) who are unaccompanied by their parent or guardian.
16. This ticket does not permit you to set up your own 'makeshift' stall within the venue or allow you to be a vendor in the venue to sell goods to the public. You may trade with approved vendors but not with the public. You will be removed from the venue if found to be doing so with no refund of your ticket.
